Libretto by Leah Lax (b.1956), based on her memoir Uncovered: How I left hasidic life and finally came home.

Young Leah immerses in a mikvah ritual bath as her entry into hasidic married life. She marvels at how exposed she feels there before God after a lifetime of keeping her homosexuality secret.
